Hello friends of NALA,
As is usual with the NALA project, we first get to know the artists, and then we present the NALA artworks here.
But it's different at NALA in Ecuador. Because of the Corona crisis, it was unfortunately not possible for us (Nala and me) to travel to Ecuador. But NALA works of art have already been painted.
We hereby present the first NALA artworks from Ecuador. As soon as we can fly and the borders are open again, we will go to Ecuador and cycling down to Lima, Peru, 1700 km away.
Hello Friends of NALA,
Here I present you another unique NALA Artwork from Ecuador.
Nala explores nature while riding a llama.
The Artist is Mika Játiva from Quito in Ecuador.
Thank you, Mika for this extraordinary Artwork.

English:
With this work I seek to reflect the Andean culture where the Chakana as the main social structure in the antiquity of our ancestors.
The colors correspond to the calendar of the Chakana with a stylized shape I want to represent the unity of the native peoples and highlight the way of life in
harmony with nature and mother earth.
The Andean Chakana, a symbol of the ancient native peoples on which their worldview and wisdom was based. It is based on giving nature its own gifts to guide life and the cycle during the stay in earthly life. In addition, it has also become a guide for people, marking the cycles of the moon and relating it to the seasons and planting season.
This is how I seek to capture this object in the main background where NALA rests and is shown central ... it is born from the White Center of the Chakana that symbolizes the season of peace, by sharing and through this fostering love towards the culture of the original peoples of America and the Whole World.
The Chaka-Nala also shows a background in which we observe the stars moon and sun, which govern the calendar and provide their energy respectively. It has been called "We are the color of mother earth" to this class of works to which the series of works belongs due to its cultural load.
Made like Chaka-Nala with the essence in which we appreciate our planet making use of warm colors in their variation, with a sometimes surreal or figurative style, I show the Ecuadorian culture in its environment, in its activities and with its image , which is the inheritance of our ancestors.

CHAKA ´NALA

On a bright, sunny day, in a distant little village, where the peace and harmony of the universe converge in front of the majestic and snow-covered Chimborazo volcano, the sweet NALA rushes out of her house.
Dressed in her embroidered outfit, her red scarf, her necklace and her traditional hat, she breathes the fresh air and greets the sun that tickles her "nose".
Her little companion Benji, the dog she found on the way, starts the day with a delicious Maca-Loca Café.
Both stand next to the pool full of crystal-clear water and watch the proud mother hen, who is walking with her five little chicks in search of worms. She remembers the Chickenland in South Africa. Hach, how gladly she would go there again.
While the fresh air weighs the trees and flowers and the birds chirp their daily song, NALA experiences her happiness and thinks of home. Whatever her parents are doing, her brother and the little sparrow she met before escaping from home. A trace of homesickness passed her. Well, she thought to herself, it is also nice here and there are so many lovely people around me.
But nevertheless, at some point she goes back and tells of her adventures in Africa and the world.

Hello friends of NALA.
please see Article here: Nala helps
You will surely remember the NALA Corona Art artworks by Joan Otieno from Nairobi, Kenya.
With the help of my NALA Project, the Kenyan Artist Joan Otieno sold small NALA artworks for over 400 euros. (40,000 ksh)
Many thanks to the buyers from Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
Each sale ensured that everyone had enough rice and beans or corn porridge and vegetables to eat, and the Warembo Wassani Art Center continued to help underprivileged children improve their future.
Unfortunately, these small NALA artworks are still in Kenya and could not yet be sent to Germany due to Corona and high-cost transport costs.
DHL asked for an amount of 300 Euros for 6 kg of recycling art.
If you are flying from Kenya to Germany or Switzerland in the near future, please let me know.
Maybe you can bring the NALA Art package with you.
Thank you for reading.
